The purpose of this position is perform the duties of the Town Clerk as set forth by Wisconsin Statutes including recordkeeping notifying the public regarding official town functions and actions conducting elections and administering the issuance of licenses and permits. This position reports to the Town Administrator. Candidates are required to have an Associate s Degree in management public administration or related field completion of Clerks and Treasurers Institute three to five years of municipal clerk experience and Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk IIMC Certified Municipal Clerk WMCA Wisconsin Certified Professional Clerk or IIMC Master Municipal Clerk certification or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.
