1970 ASTON MARTIN DBS SALOON Left-Hand Drive 5-Speed Manual Gearbox This 1970 Aston Martin DBS Left-Hand Drive Saloon was ordered new with the desirable ZF 5-speed manual gearbox and air conditioning. Just freshly serviced by marque experts Steel Wings the DBS runs and drives excellent. Finished in Silver Birch over Dark Blue Connolly hides this DBS was completed on November 24 1970. The Aston would spend virtually its entire life in Canada. Original receipts on file dating back to December of 1978 show the car in the garage of Dr. Roy Mustgrove of Windsor Ontario. Regularly serviced in his care by 1981 records show the car then with Don Chornomydz of Union Bay British Columbia and then Peter Erglis Esq. of Scarborough Ontario from 1984 through to the mid- 90s when he sold the car back to Mr. Chornomydz. Peter Bateman of Blaine Washington would acquire it in the early-2000s before selling it on to the previous owner Miles Felton of West Vancouver British Columbia. During all of this ownership records were kept with over 150 pages of them on file in a binder. Accompanied by copies of its Aston Martin build records a tool roll original copies of the DBS Workshop Manual and Parts Catalog and a thick binder of receipts. A beautiful original example and a superb driver.
