You ll work on heavy equipment (Yellow Iron) that requires a high level of skill hydraulics electrical and diagnostics. You ll perform preventative maintenance services and inspect diagnose repair and rebuild vehicles and equipment. Mechanic will support both McKittrick and Kettleman City fleet and will have use of company work truck to commute travel time will be compensated accordingly. Location Kettleman City CA Some Basic Requirements 3 to 6 years experience repairing and maintaining landfill specific heavy equipment such as excavators dozers compactors graders ADTs backhoe & scrapers Experience repairing diesel trucks roll off trucks and fleet pickup trucks Possess skills in operating tools equipment parts and procedures in dealing with yellow iron repairs Experience with Computer Diagnostics Basic welding knowledge and experience Experience with hydraulics & electrical repairs Own your own tools Valid Driver s License At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States Click Apply.
