Mechanical Designer AutoCAD - Akron Ohio - JOB 22-00045Hourly Rate 24.00 - 29.00 HR Temporary to Direct Hire Akron Area Company is seeking a Mechanical Designer. The Mechanical Designers key responsibilities are to work closely with the appropriate Engineering functions generate and maintain technical documentation which could include pneumatic and hydraulic control schematics and diagrams Informational drawings Electro-mechanical assemblies Mechanical details layouts and assemblies procedures & manuals. Provide administration support for generating filing maintaining and controlling master drawings manuals and part numbers. Provide support to Sales proposal generation activities. Assist with component pricing and specification research. Provide administration support for the maintenance of technical libraries.REQUIREMENTS Associates Degree in Design Drafting Must have two (2) years minimum work experience in generating technical documentation. Must be proficient with AutoCAD (AutoCAD 2D) Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) Must have good computer skills Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Must have good planning organizational and time management abilities. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
