Remote Editor needs 2-3 years of educational publishing experience or 2-3 years of editorial and or learning design experience.Remote Editor requires Digital media Problem-solving Educational programs User Acceptance Testing Proofreading Content expertise in the subject(s) to be assigned Knowledge of the subject area(s) to be edited. Strong conceptual skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simply and clearly. Self-motivation excellent writing and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication organizational and time-management skills. Good decision-making and problem-solving skills along with the ability to meet deadlines regularly and to highlight risks at early stages. Passionate about creating engaging and effective learning products. Remote Editor duties Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and or standing). Needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer. Collaborate with colleagues via face to face conference calls and online meetings. Write and edit review manuscript and proof for various products to meet product specifications and market needs write and or review multi-media specs (images audio video animation) and recommend assets for products.
