The PeopleReady located at Indianapolis Indiana 46227 is currently hiring a Merchandiser Job Description We are hiring for the 2022 College Football Playoff Championship Game PeopleReady ofIndianapolis is seeking to hire Merchandisers to work in the heart of downtown Indianapolis during to assist with merchandising selling promo gear and unloading merchandise as well as delivering quality customer service while maintaining a work environment that is clean safe and stocked with the products our customers need. The pay rate for this position is 16.20 Shift Timings - All Available. Responsibilities Strong customer service skills required Being friendly and professional and associates to meet venue needs. Ensuring signage pricing information and displays are accurate so that merchandise is easy to locate. Creating visually appealing product selections that are safe clean and easy for customers to access. Qualifications & Experience Background Check Required High school diploma or equivalent. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing sitting lift at least 25 pounds or more and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g. hand tools drills saws). Ability to read write and perform basic arithmetic (addition subtraction). Ability to work overnight and weekends as required. 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms setting up and tearing down displays & sales floor experience. Ability to effectively read and interpret a measuring tape. Employee is frequently required to stand walk sit talk and or hear for long periods of time.
