Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour - 18 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) 3rd Shift (Night) and Weekends Responsibilities Assist in the construction & renovations of modular building components including exterior finishing framing etc Assist in the construction & renovations of modular building components including floors walls and roofs Assist in the installation of sheeting materials including sub floors wall sheeting and roofing sheeting using various materials Assist in the assembly of doors windows trim and mill work including the hardware and painting Gather material needed for construction & renovation of units Installation of small finishing items Clean and detail units Use hand and power tools Follow all safety procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous Carpenter experience A minimum of 2 years construction & renovation experience Valid Fall protection CSTS-0.9 20 WHMIS 2015 and Standard First Aid an asset Ability to take direction and follow through on instructions General construction safety knowledge Committed dedication to safety reflected in practice and experience Strong focus on customer satisfaction Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently in a demanding environment A team player with strong people skills Physical Requirements Stand or walk for long periods of time Ability to stand crouch and kneel for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 25kg Climbing stairs ladders regularly Exposure to hazards such as heights power tools slips falls falling objects and sharp hand tools
