The PeopleReady located at Hartford Connecticut 6120 is currently hiring a Bookkeeping Administrative Assistant Job Description PeopleReady is hiring a Bookkeeper to assist one of our customers with their day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for bookkeeping filing and answering phones. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Bookkeeper and have used QuickBooks and Excel. Note Pay rate for this job is 20 Hour. Shift Timings 1st Shift (Day) & Weekends. Bookkeeper Responsibilities Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Reconcile sales taxes payroll taxes 401k and bank accounts at the end of each month. Monitor financial transactions and reports. Process accounts receivable and payable. Process checks. Understand ledgers. Work with an accountant when necessary. Handle monthly payroll using accounting software. Bookkeeper Requirements Dependable and punctual 1-2 years Bookkeeping experience Required Knowledge of bookkeeping software. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Attention to detail and accuracy of work. Able to prepare review and understand a financial statement. Background Check required.
