Looking for an Accounting Clerk to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Accounting Clerk responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures. Ultimately will help our Accounting department run smoothly ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions Note - Pay rate for this position is 18 Hour - DOE Shift -1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Prepare All Sales Orders for Billing Check and Verify All GL Codes Match up Freight Bills with Sales Orders & Approve Find UPS Freight charges for Sales Orders Monitor Freight to Follow Invoices Monitor Back Ordered Invoices Monitor Open Sales Order File On Line Billing Maintain Open Sales Order Reports at Month End Add New Resale Certificates to the server Send Copies of invoices to Customer as requested Assistant in Dept. as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable (ability to make it into work every day) Strong communication skills Phone & Electronic Strong attention to detail & time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal guidance A team player who will jump in and help the team in other functions when needed Able to work well in a team environment. Takes direction from management
