Job Title Sr Procurement SpecialistJob Function ProcurementCity OmahaState NebraskaFull Time Part Time Full TimeJob Summary Incumbent will partner with cross-functional Supply Chain Finance RQI (Research Quality and Innovation) Internal Customers (ie Marketing HR IT) and Supplier resources to drive innovation renovation cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives specifically related to the integration of Ralcorp and the implementation of Demand Driven Supply Chain (DDSC). Position located in Omaha or St. Louis.Primary objectives include Collaborate with internal team members in the development and deployment of supplier collaboration work streams to deliver the strategic plan for assigned categories. Provide project leadership and management for cost savings initiatives and or related projectsPosition Responsibilities Champion change management behaviors across the combined organization to embrace and use demand driven principles. Serve as the DDSC subject matter expert to facilitate ConAgra cost reduction (CCR) ideation review approval and implementation processes including preparation for platform project gate reviews. Lead category assessment teams in identifying Supplier Collaboration cost savings quality productivity and synchronization improvements. Support data gathering analysis and opportunity assessment for Supplier Collaboration categories. Drive discovery planning and implementation of supplier collaboration CCRs. Identify opportunities as Supplier Collaboration work streams are activated to improve the execution and lower the cost of inbound ingredient and package material freight delivery and warehousing. Collaborate with Transportation planning M& OP S& OP Material Planning and Plants on implementation timing and plans. Develop and deploy models to further our understanding of end to end supply chain management drive value and savings through improved efficiency reduced inventory and enhanced supply chain performance. Work with S& OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Material Planning and M& OP (Material & Operations Planning) teams to ensure communication and planning processes and protocols are followed during the implementation of recommended improvements supporting plant and platform schedule adherence attainment and customer service goals. Achieve and maintain ConAgra power-user status and work closely with super-user community for internal ERP and reporting systems. Drive streamlined Supply Chain processes across the organization. Ensure consistent application of DDSC tools techniques and processes. Other duties as required. Position Qualifications 3 5 years in Purchasing Supply Chain and or Finance roles prefer CPG experience BS BA in General Business Supply Chain Finance or a related major required MBA and or Supply Chain related certifications would be a plus Experience developing and executing against sourcing category strategies desired Proven MRP experience a plus Self-starter with a proven track record of developing and executing change in a complex environment Strong influence management project management creative problem solving and cross-functional team building skills Passionate high-energy individual who can function in a complex matrixed environment Understanding of economics technical issues and ability to perform independent value analysis and value engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills including confidence with formal presentation of complex material in both small and large group settings Superior analytical skills and business acumen Ability to leverage computer software including SAP MS Excel Access and PowerPoint Business Warehouse and other analysis software.
